Elisa, Those are not eye surgery scars. I think they are a certain decoration of some (existent) tribe in Africa/Asia. Sorry for my ignorance and undereducation, but I have seen such facial decoration. I think the artist wanted to express Angelina's love towards strange (=non european-based)cultures.
Maddox is apparently going to grow up to be the coolest lad of all time. and take over the world.
