Yup...her contracts appear to be falling apart
H&M dropped her yesterday (after making things up regarding a
2nd chance) and
Chanel has said
they have no plans to renew her contract...because apparently doing coke
with Karl Lagerfeld (
don't try and tell me that guy isn't totally drugged up 100% of the time) is o.k...but doing it without him is
bad news. I'm guessing Burberry is next :( It's sad...she's the last of the great models. Kate needs to get on the blower (no pun intended) with Donatella (who happens to have more issues than Kate)...and try to salvage her career.
*UPDATE* : Burberry and Gloria Vanderbilt have dropped her as well. Dior and Rimmel have decided to keep her on (for now).

Geez, Elisa, you know I hate to disagree with you about anything not Jennifer Aniston-related :-), but I have always thought that Kate Moss was funny-looking in an unattractive way.

yeah...I have to admit Ginger...I've fallen in love with Kate progressively...when i first saw her in the CK ads (especially the one where she's smiling)I thought she was awful...and now I think she's the coolest most naturally beautiful model around...I think her Burberry ads were the key :)

ReplyDeleteWatch...any day now the sad sob story expose will come out where she "confesses" everything and says how much she's learned, sigh. Just like Naomi Campbell and countless others. Meanwhile for years now women have tried to emulate Kate's skinniness and have probably pummelled themselves into oblivion needlessly, when the whole time it was freaking coke for her. I wish we just knew the truth from the getgo for everyone, who's doing what. I hate lies.

ReplyDeleteyou know I think its not surprising that the face of heroin chic takes drugs. thankfully its not that one. The fashion industry is riddled with drug taking, as is the movie industry. I agree about her strange looks. SOmetimes she looks pretty but most of the time I think she loks like an alien. I think it is her wide-set eyes.
