Prop 8 passes in Calif *sigh*

This sucks. It really does. What a horrible step backwards. How depressing.

California voters approved Proposition 8 Tuesday night, eliminating the right of same-sex couples to marry in the state.

    Yeah, well. Check out the percentage of supporters of Prop. 8 that were Mormon. Vile.

    Religious institutions should lose their tax-exempt status when they meddle with politics, period.

    People in CA are already starting to file lawsuits challenging the decision.
    This will not last.
