I think she should have been born in the 50s, and lived out her twenties in the frenetic heydays of the 70s, and she would have fit right in.

So how did this girl even get famous? I mean, I watched some of the OC and she was by far the least memorable of the cast. She was like Andrea Zuckerman of 90210--not a whole lot going on there. Of course Andrea was the brainiac, got preggers and had to marry the baby daddy, and then went on to have an affair with a fellow doctor. . .but no one ever expected Gabrielle Carteris (or whatever) to go on and have a vibrant Lifetime Movie career or anything. You just knew she would fade away until reunion episodes. I think Mischa Barton was a lot like that.
