Avril gets the 'young people'
Avril at the Teen Choice Awards. She knows that a full head of colour is passe. Even a half head is over. She's going for the spray on side-stripe...the kind that washes out immediately, perfect for when you have to get back to the office the next day, or need to attend a P&C meeting. Girlfriend is so with it. Oh so cool. She is punk rock personified.

I cannot stand her, I really absolutely, utterly can't. She's almost as irritating as Gwhineth when it comes to pretension versus talent.

She's kinda a fake feeble rebel, but really bitchy and mean., and it's all about the $$'s she has that makes her cocky and brave. She could just sing well and make it big too.., so maybe she'll mature and try to show some style and elegance eventually.
