Yes, because backpacking through Europe on the cheap is only for PRIVELIGED kids whose mummy and daddy saddle them up with a backpack and presumably an airline ticket and say, "Off you go, Billy!"

I've financed two trips to Europe and have backpacked all over the place. Why? Because I worked as well.

Her answer not only does not cut the mustard but is also grossly offensive, as if overseas travel is only for the wealthy elite.

Anyway, the techniques employed in Iraq will never work in Afghanistan. They are NOT the same places at all.
