Girlfriend may be pretty, and a rather cool fashion sense...but she can't sing. She reminds me of that girl in karaoke who is really drunk, singing off key in a duet with you, and all you want her to do is pass out so you can finish the song by yourself. Not that that's ever happened to me...
Girlfriend should stick to plastering her rack.

I searched for "Katy Perry Can't Sing" and this website was the first one on the list. I thought it was only me that thought she could not sing. She is terrible.
They must use an awful lot of editing and mixing in the studio because the album does not sound that bad.

well personally being a vocalist myself and not to bash anybody but there are alot of notes and ranges that people cant reach without problems so what is done is they will either augment or just have the vocalist do the same lyrics over and over again untill they actually hit it. and so thats why in live performances they sound like they suck because they wont attempt to hit that certain note because thell prob mess it up live.. and thats a nono. so they just stick with what they know they can do.
Yeah, she's so horrible. I don't understand people who say she can sing. I mean, have they not heard her live? People say I have a problem because I'm 14 and listen to Led Zepplin and them - but hey, I say they have a problem because they're listening to this sh*t.
I'm so glad i'm not the only one who noticed it! She just cant sing! Its so out of tune and horrible! The least she could do is lip sync i mean i know ppl think thats like something wrong to do and all but like really what would u rather listen to ????

Katy is just a pretty face. Not more then that. She is the living prove that you only need to have a pretty face and a catchy song to get a worlwide hit in the popcharts. being able to sing isn't even necesaary anymore. She's just straight horrible

She really can ´t sing live. Even Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are better. Singers who can sing live are people like Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson and P!nk.
