Why skinny models exist

I know that banning skinny models is all the rage right now...but I see why they exist. Things just look better on the tall, thin and expressionless.

i think the "expressionless" comment is bang on. it draws attention to the clothes rather than the model. that must be why manequins never look happy.

I actually think outfit #1 looks better on the non model. As for outfit #2, well, all that proves is that the dress looks better on a *girl*...

I disagree with Jeremiah, I think both outfits look better on the models.

And speaking as someone who is naturally very thin... they definitely wouldn't be banning thin models if they too were thin ;)

First pic looks far better on the non-model. The second one is just a bad choice because if it had been Reese Witherspoon it would look a lot better. JS got a far too masculine body for that dress.

Models bring nothing to the clothes. They are just walking dolls you dress.

are you kidding???
the dress looks good on all of the ladies, though having some breasts is more feminine and ultimately more beautiful.

i think the dresses both look better on the models.
"expressionless" is the perfect word to describe the models but the dresses seem to flow on them. in the first dress, it look like it is just being stretched out by jen. i do like it better w/out the belt though. in the 2nd dress, it just look horrible on jess. she looks so bulky...ick! they definitely don't do anything for the clothes. viva models!!

Excuse me, but the thing on Jessica's face does not meet my imagination of an facial expression. Sorry.

The model in dress #1 looks like she is really a flesh eating zombie, while the model in dress #2 looks more like a human being than Jessica does in that shot.
