NY Wishes You the Swellest of Weekends

Hey My Sweets,

Well, as you know, I'm now graduated and idle...and what better for a new G.I. than to go to N.Y for a tad, in order to fully enjoy my G.I. status while I can? I'm flying out tomorrow, and I'll be there for six weeks. I'm pretty confident the blog will be operating as usual during that period...and hope to report back as usual on Monday.
Anyone that wants to save me from a full-time business job and give me a hot, writer-y, interesting internship/job...just holla :) haha.
love,
elisa

Man I fucking love New York. I'd give anything to be back there again. Why did I pick Melbourne over NY??

Anyway, what exactly will you be doing there? Keep us jealous little people updated, Elisa. xx

Kate...what do you mean you chose Melbourne over NY? To study or to live?
I'm just going there for a vacation to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and niece, and nephew :)
Then I'll be back and working in a stupendously boring job...so no-one be jealous :)
love,
elisa

Congratulations to your being graduated, wow!!
I was in NYC once for one day and I am not planning ever to return again. So busy and loud. Probably that is what so appealing, or some other feature. This city just does not suit me, but might suit others quite well.
I am wishing you a great time over there, Elisa, and keep us informed about you experience.

Congratulations! When you do get a job, make sure to save time for us! I just can't start my day without your site. It helps me keep everything in perspective. Have a great time in NY

Congratulations. I'm in education and therefore cannot offer you a wonderful writing job. I can tell you that you do an excellent job blogging and I read you faithfully.

I live in Chicago but work a great deal in New York. Enjoy. Manhattan is my favorite place in the world...

Well, I don't really live, let alone study... "sitting around using up parents' money" is a slightly more fitting term. ;)

Anyway, have an utterly swell time, hopefully we'll see more of your insanely witty updates soon!

Holy shit. Elisa!!!! I had no idea you were coming back out here!

YOU ARE COMING TO BROOKLYN TO VISIT ME, no if's, and's, or but's! I simply will not have it!

I will e-mail you my number soon, in case you don't have it.

Congratulations, Elisa!~~Very wise of you to fully exploit your GI status.

Perhaps some raucous-filled nights with literary-types in NYC might lead you to one of the publishing intern-type jobs of which you speak? You couldn't pick a better GI spot (NYC) to stumble into such a position, if that's really what you want. (Unfortunately, the wisdom of it may be questionable, but that's up to you.)

You've probably seen it, but here is an agent website that might provide some (entertainment) guidance. *Warning, contains NYC snark and a dog named KY.*

Good luck in whatever you choose, and thanks for the great blog. I'm a regular! ~~Best, Robin

Elisa, I just have this feelin'....that you're gonna be famous like the writer of Sex and the City, Candace Bushnell. Or reknowned of some sort! And we'll all have known ya back when.

Can't wait to hear how New York was!

(Mein Deutch ist sehr shite)

Don't listen to WJDD she already fooled me with that. She's a fiftyTHREE year old balding man. and she has no compunctions about video taping you without your knowledge or consent. I'm still waiting for my copy JD!

My use of German has nothing to do with anything, I just felt like it. I do not think New York is in Germany. I know it's in Wales.

Congrats on graduating Elisa! I'll be home (NY) for x-mas. Bundle up -- it's freezing. And, yes, NY IS the best. He he.

congrats on graduating, (in spring i graduate).. have fun in NY it is the best city in the world though sometims i forget (i live 2 hrs. away) and be careful of the people who beg you to visit them, they are more then likely creepy old priests and mailmen who just salivate at the idea of having you visit them.
