Kate Winslet...is still hot.
I'm not a fan of actresses replacing models in magazines...it kind of goes against a sticking-to-your-core-competency strategy...but if it must be the case...then I want to see less talentless, rather frightening, and unattractive girls...and more of...Kate Winslet :) I love her so much I'm willing to overlook the fact that she's starting to look a little like Kylie Minogue...damn nose job that she didn't need.

I used to like her back before she got all skinny and hollywood and lodged her head up her own arse.
She was much prettier with a bit of weight on her and she seemed nicer too, she comes across like a mad bitch these days, I mean she never gets them out at all anymore!

I am desperately hoping that she is just airbrushed into oblivion here, because she doesn't even look like herself.
She's been on my Celebrities I'd Love to Have a Beer With list for years now. But I never want to hang out with women who look like generic Hollywood.
I'm going to go cry now.

I thought she looked better in titanic except for the too bright red hair. Did she really have a nose job? oh well, at least she can actaully act unlike some other celebrities, though i haven't seen her in a big movie in quite a while. i think this is the bad part of bieng in something so succesful that that will be the character you are forever defined for- kate (titanic), julia (pretty woman), jen(rachel), etc.
I think she's pretty hot, i like her.
yeah...she got a similar nose-job as Natalie Portman's totally unecessary...They're not totally obvious njobs...but it makes them look a little snippier.

I love Kate too, but I didn't know she had a nose job... though looking at these pictures I'd have to say you're right, her nose now seems at odds with her face. Still gorgeous though.

I noticed a few months ago...maybe a year...when I saw her in a magazine and swore it was Kim Catrall and i just KNEW she'd had work done. Stupid, stupid, stupid nose job.
Why do they do it??
I read yesterday that she said she HAD NOT LOST WEIGHT, but that she was photoshopped to look thinner - and was not happy about it. Here here, let's give the woman credit for being one of the few actresses who refuses to buckle down to a diet of oxygen.
hmm anon531...are you sure she was talking about this particular photoshoot? I know she said it for this other photoshoot...it was way obvious though...they gave her 6foot legs :)
Kate Winslet is one of the most beautiful women in the movies. No one should need to airbrush her. These photos just make her look like she needs a meal.
Those pics make me sad.
On a more optimistic note, the photog, Peter Lindbergh, isn't known to take flattering pics of Kate.
