Pierce Brosnan has never done a thing for me...and until recently...I thought he was the worst Bond ever. Faux-charm has never been my thing. Pierce is apparently very upset about the fact that the Bond producers have chosen someone else. I guess a hearty "Fuck You" is not totally out of order...when one is replaced by a scary German villain...but I'm guessing what's really at the heart of his outburst, are those pesky rumours that Angelina is going to be in the new Bond film...as some semi-main character.

Pierce Brosnan's Gravy Train has ended
Pierce Brosnan has never done a thing for me...and until recently...I thought he was the worst Bond ever. Faux-charm has never been my thing. Pierce is apparently very upset about the fact that the Bond producers have chosen someone else. I think Pierce is mad for two reasons:
a) whatever he says to the contrary its really Bond that makes him an A-List star (how have his other films done) and he probably thought they would eventually go back to him another time
and
b) if Angie is the co-star, the film is going to have a huge opening weekend even if for only the curiosity factor. Which means the franchise don't need him.
I think Pierce made sense as Bond. I mean, I never really watched those movie anyway....even though they are on Spike Tv non-stop! But he has the accent and the look and the suave thing going. I don't get why they dumped him and went with some blond guy.
p.s. don't forget he was a big hit in Mrs.Doubtfire :o)
I think Pierce is hot shit. And, while I admittedly am not a fan of the movie series, I thought he made a perfect Bond.
He's much more handsome than the rest (cuz to me Sean Connery didn't get really good-looking until his hair turned silver).
Oh, how can you forget that classic movie ... the title of which I have forgotten .. that starred Pierce running away from volcanic fallout for 90 minutes. I saw it on a flight and even then I wanted to walk out on it! But PB or no PB, has not Bond had his day? The movies are all the same just with different locations and different bad but beautiful villian-esses.
Haha...nothing beats Pierce as Taggart....hahahah...some dodgy cop series...I don't know...he looks very Hasselhoff + fake charm to me.
