Gwen Stefani launches million dollar LAMB show

Gwen finished of NY Fashion week with her LAMB show...reviews were mixed...but whatever...she picked some awesome models (inc Jessica Stam...my favourite) and qualms/questions regarding wearability should be directed elsewhere :)

yeah...I have to agree with you about Lilly Cole...she's huge though...I don't get her hype...she looks especially freaky in the new ads for De Beers....
Lilly Cole and fake tan don't mix well either....

I can't really see Gwen Stefani's style ever being main stream, but that's kind of the point, right? All this stuff looks great on her, but who's going to actually buy it?

Gwen Stefani always looks a little too pimped out for my taste.

I dunno ... L.A.M.B. - the design, the style and the execution - seems one part grandma's rag bag scraps and one part ambition over talent. Gwen (or her stylist?) has style, but design talent? Not so much.

yeah...personally...my favourite Gwen-time was during Tragic Kingdom (like Sunday Morning!!!)...and also for her video What Are You Waiting For?
But she's awesome...so I can't bag her out :)

I completely agree. To some degree, Gwen is taking the Madonna career path (and that's necessarily a negative thing). I think people will look back on her in 20 years - as we do about Madonna - and have our favorite periods in her career. However, I think that Gwen will have far more long-term likeability than Madonna has. She just seems to be a nicer person all around and not so inclined take herself (and her progressive art) so seriously. And, hey, they both have British husbands to boot.

I meant "not necessarily" in the above post. Fingers type too fast.

yeah you're right anon127...I hadn't thought about it that way...I guess she's kinda following Madge's career now...but finnuily enough...the comments of similarity were at No Doubt's height during her "Don't Speak" video...weird...

So Lily Cole is it? Um, her eyes are facing different direction. And normally I love Gwen, but I'm not big on this fashion line she has out.
