Gwyneth obnoxiously hugs her photoshop

Well..Gwyneth has hit Vogue again...the photoshoot is actually quite nice...but of course...Gwyneth can't get away with a bit of a whinge, a bit of a 'What is the fascination (with me)?", and of course, her being freaked out by the media interest in her daughter...because she doesn't want her to be placed in those "disgusting weekly magazines" (apparently monthly magazines are fine)...I believe that she's forgotten that her entire fan-base is made up of people who read those 'disgusting' magazines...also known as women who think that complaining, getting married, moving to Europe, and wearing Calvin Klein is "classy". Somewhere in the mess of the 'interview' during a 'paparrazzi chase' she claims that she's going to have a how delusional can you be? "Princess Diana moment". It's basically the same old same old Gwyneth. If you want to subject yourselves to the torture...be my guest :)

The funniest part of the interview of course...is the "Gwyneth is naturally beautiful and amazing" propaganda by the Vogue writer:

"There's a lot of things about her that are appealing—she's beautiful, she's smart, she's driven, she has a wonderful career, she's a wife and a mother. She's kind of who you want to be."
and the clincher:

"The way she looks in the (Estee Lauder) ads...is kind of the way
she came to the shoot. Her hair is long; she just looks fresh. She has a
glow."

Ugh. I absolutely *hate* celeb-prop! Is this an article or an exercise in ass-kissing? I can just pictire the editor giving the assignment: make sure your angle makes our readers feel as insecure and inadequate as possible in the presence of Gwyneth. That way they'll keep on reading in order to better themselves.

yeah...but the thing is...if it was about someone who was a really good actress, or really beautiful, or really sweet...it wouldn't be so bad...for e.g...I don't mind when they do nice articles on Cate Blanchett, Susan Sarandon, or even Nicole Kidman...but Gwyneth...saying that everyone wants to be like her...is just ridiculous.

Kiss ass much Vogue?
Sorry, she's just not all that. She's way to skinny and unhealthy looking in my opinion.

p.s...sorry about the language...but I prefer the term 'fuckwit' personally...I quote from Urban Dictionary

Someone who despite constant failure, is unable to learn from these transgressions. Continues to do foolish and irritating things, which aggravate many people. They are not only a halfwit, but also significantly f*cked in the head.

This is the woman who fired her assistant for bringing her herbal tea in a cup that she "sensed" had caffiene in it at one time.

Real class, real elegance.

I haven't seen anything she's done since Seven. There is something so gratifying about the ending......

Those photos are SO HEAVILY photoshopped. You have a terrific eye, Elisa!

Oh sweet Elisa how right you are, my randomness is my most spoken about trait, as I walk the halls of various establishments the lady-folk ooh and ah with whispers of "He's so random!!".

However you have offended my delicate European sensibilities with your foul language! I scoff at thee! Scoff! A lesser gent might even bite his thumb! Naw I likes the foulness.

-- she actually did this?! Man, she really is crazy. Maybe what she "sensed" was the glob of spit her assistant had hocked up into her tea as payback.

WWJDD: OMG, you're right. Plum Sykes is the brunette Gywneth. They even have the same sick pallor.

Does the writer mean that the rest of us are stupid, ugly frumps who sit on our couches wishing we were GP while reading this article? Personally what I like most about Gwyneth is that she lives in Europe. I also wonder if that stupid thing on her head is part of her newfound "European sensibility".

"She's kind of who you want to be."

The last person I would want to be is Gwyneth Paltrow (even if I was a female). Who wants to be a desperate, wanna-be Brit, anorexic looking sometime actress with little natural talent who got good roles straight away because of family connections and an Oscar because the Weinsteins outspent all the other studios combined on a crappy movie and who has never worked a day in her life? Paris Hilton would die for a life like that, but most people IMO don't a)want everything handed to them on a platter and b) if they do, they then don't get an superior attitude because of it.
