With mothers like these...
Courtney Love's mother has written a tell-all tale about her daughter...imaginatively called "Her Mother's Daughter". It claims that Courtney started using drugs at the age of 4. I guess the book has to start with crazy claims pretty early on, since Courtney's mother (Linda Carroll)abandoned Courtney at the tender age of 7 ......how much dirt-material can you dig up on a then-little kid? Cruel.

It's sad when they start so young, I believe when she turned five she started hitting the Calpol and Farley's Rusks like a mad thing.
Geez...where is child protective services when you need them?
Will the line go on or will Courtney stop the *karma*?
At least her mom is admitting that she's a crackhead as well.
Wow, it sounds like she thinks all that stuff Courtney started when she was lil just came up out of the blue (doing drugs at 4?!!)? I gotta read this. Cuz it sounds way too much like my family. Sittin' around exposing me to abusers then spending the rest of their lives scratchin' their heads at what is wrong with that there Janae?
I agree Janae...I gotta read this too...but I don't want to buy because it's SO screwed up to try and money from your daughter...how awful is that?
Franci...Courtney's daughter looks adorable and pretty grounded...but I'm just going buy a teen vogue interview :) I don't think Courtney's been a bad mum...let's hope not,,,
love,
elisa
Of course Courtney hasn't been a bad mom. All good mothers have their children removed from their custody. Courtney must be a great mother, her child has been removed twice.
Elisa, me too - I do seriously hope that the chain can be stopped. But, fact one: poor Courtney was kind of mis-treated n her childhood. Otherwise, what the explanation of drugging at the age of 4? (WTF? Being left by sweet mom at age 7? WTF?)
Result: see Courtney.
Fact two: C. also has a daughter.
Theory (which is not mine): parents unfortunately often follow the parenting pattern they learned when they were kids from their parents, irrespective of the quality of that parenting. I know people who treat their kids the way they were treated when being kids - no matter how they disliked and still do dislike the method their parents applied...
