Look at how frail she looks even with all the layers and patterns and colors. The girl is in trouble.
i don't think you're off, elisa - nicole looks mighty fine indeed. for americans she may look 'anorexic', in contrast with over half of the population - but in fact she is still just about on the right side of thin. she reminds me both of the recently deceased superstylish socialite nan kempner and - the self-proclaimed - anorexic and style-icon: audrey hepburn. nicole certainly has got IT!

i dated a nice non-american gentleman (of the kind who makes fun of americans being so large) who complained that i was too thin, and i was never as bony as nicole. good luck maintaining your fat-american stance. maybe some americans, living in the eating disorder capital of the world and growing mightily sick of its dysfunctional media standards, are just better at recognizing when someone looks bad.

Lou...I see what you're saying. I mean...Nicole looks frail...but she doesn't look sick (to me)...for example when compared to Allegra Versace (who is/looks really, really ill). I was in Switzerland for a year (where you seriously struggle to find a fastfood joint) and while I'm not trying to say that Nicole would look normal...she seriously wouldn't turn any heads re: her skinniness.
Although anorexia is a problem ...I think media/people focus on it disproportionately (I think in a sick way...for the media it's far 'cooler' to have articles on girls who are too thin that girls who are too fat)...IMO obesity is a much bigger killer/problem in today's Western society...and it's also time to lay off the U.S :) ...after all...Australia is the second fattest nation.
Just my convoluted two cents, and as always, feel free to disagree.
