Who Wouldn't Want A Chandelier Made Entirely of Tampons?
Don't believe me?
A chandelier made of tampons, entitled 'The Bride' and created by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, hangs at the arts Biennale in Venice. In the first few seconds the title of the work stikes you as poignant, feminist, and possibly well thought out,...until, with some extra thought, you realise that it's a pretty meaningless title...think about it.
I can just imagine the people in the picture speaking of some epic struggle between the patriarch and fertility...reminds me of scene from Ghostworld when a girl in Thora Birch's class gets an A for mangling up a coat-hanger and titling it 'abortion'

Whoa G4G, I THINK I can see what you're talking about...pretty good eyes you've got there :) Either that, or it's L-Ron from Xenu...or whatever.
That is amazing. I would totally want that.
It represents...society. And the eternal struggle between good and evil. And the human soul. And these things, yes.
Where did you find this?
HEy Lake,
Glad you like it :) Yahoo News = Source :)
Love,
Elisa
