I don't know why Christina Aguilera feels it necessary to iterate what any amoeba+ has seen for weeks (so K-Fed is ruled out...obviously)...or why she indeed has to kick a rival when she's dead and buried down...you're not going to believe this....but she thinks (I seriously don't know where she got this notion from) that Britney has "let herself go" and won't make a comeback. Crazy huh? Pfft...Christina is delusional....hear this Xtina!!! Even if you could take her body, you could never take her golden vocal chords.
Britney, your raw singing talent is still the only thing that manages to bring out my emotions in this cold, cold, world.

Certainly I am no fan of Brit, but in defense of pregnant women everywhere, (per CA's comment) different bodies react differently to pregnancy. Weight gain is different as is disbersement of said weight. Therefore, her appearance my have as much to do with that as is does with a Venti Frap. Although -- dressing is a horrid bikini 1 month before having a baby is just not advisable. I think she may look better if she'd quit letting Fed dress her. He just seem to bring out the "trailer trash" look.
yeah you're right..starbuck...she's never been a thin girl per se...she's short and stocky...never a good aesthetic combination...especially during pregnancy. I guess that's why so many actresses go into hiding at around the 6month mark...does anyone know how far along Brits is?

I for one am proud of Brit! She's embracing what so many people believe should be hidden. She's preg--not a beach whale! She's bringing forth life! She and all women everywhere should support her and other like her that feel being preg is just as sexy. And...if you ask any man, he'd tell the best sex, is with a preg woman!
Some would argue that wearing a string bikini when one is 8 months pregnant represents a serious lack of taste and class. But then again, one only has to take one look at Britney's husband and it all suddenly makes sense...
But what is so "tasteless"?? She's at a beach!! She doesn't have rolls on her body--even if she did, so what!! She's the same woman she was before the preg, she's just preg now...
I just feel preg women don't get the support they deserve. After all, if it weren't for them none of us would be here.

I love to read this blog. It is one of the highlights of my day. I am pregnant too, and while I recognize the beauty of pregnancy, I will not flaunt my belly in a too tiny bikini. If I looked like Heidi Klum, however, I might feel differently.
I agree with ms. mika. She IS at the beach so the bikini fits right in. And she's preggers, not a criminal, so why should she go into hiding? Besides, she looks better almost nude at 8 months preggers than most of us fat Americans do IN CLOTHES. (Not that I'm a Brittney fan).

I used to be pregnant, although I humbly express that I had more style than this ah-so-famous-singer-whatever-diva, and I just was eager to show my belly to everyone. I was proud to be preggers, yes.
If we are so much in love with kids (any Michael Jackson would justify this statement) and with sex (any proofs, anyone?) then why the hell do so much of us feel the need to hide the way that that takes place between sex and having babies?
Gee, Xtina, heaven forbid Britney "lets herself go" for the sake of having a healthy pregnancy!!
As far as the bikini...eh...I think she looks great. She probably feels like I do about tan lines and "white" areas... wanting as few as possible.

I had no idea that the ranks of celebrity gossip blogreaders were so touchy about the miracle of pregnancy.
Regardless of how beautiful the life changing act of child bearing is, we are still talking about Britney Spears in a string bikini and at least 6-7 months pregnant sitting on a damn yacht. It's not flattering for anyone to be dressed like that in her condition and certainly not somone who has every frickin minute of their lives photographed.
I think people should occasionally step back and remember they are reading a website about celebrity gossip where the main entertainment value revolves around the snarky, witty comments that Elisa comes up with when inspired by the muse of world celebrity culture.
Relax people, it's just a supersized Britney.

many pregnant women gain far more weight than she has. better to be on the high end than on the low end when you're growing a baby... you can lose weight afterwards, but the baby doesn't get a second chance to make up for insufficient prenatal nutrition.
still, though, that's a hideous bikini. it would look dumb on anyone. nipple starfish, wtf? and she's going to regret not giving her breasts decent support now, later on when they've eventually deflated again.

Celebrities become subject to public opinion (and mocking) once they become celebrities. That's just the way the cult of celebrity works...and has always worked. It's not a stab at "the miracle of pregnancy". It's a stab at Britney Spears.

No, Franci, you're not wrong. The dislike of seeing women baring their pregnant bodies is rooted in our society's deep-seated hatred and contempt towards all that is "woman". It is also manifested in the "thin at all costs" trend. God forbid anyone actually have "adipose tissue"!! The horror.
I'm NOT saying every person feels this way - I'm saying it's huge in our society.
My own personal theory of why this is so is because it helps the dominant (males) stay dominant. It's a simple fact - in such a system, whoever isn't dominant is looked at and treated as "lower" and sometimes "disgusting". It's the mechanism of the system.
It's really very sad...cuz there's nothing disgusting, shameful, taboo, or gross about women, birth, vaginas, or fat. We give life for God's sake.

I think any person who is having a child is a gift from god dont get me wrong...but i hate to see of all pple britney spear who smokes and drink and does go knows what else to herself have one i think she is ill responsible and her 15 mins in the spot light is done when it comes down to raw talent on vocal skills we need to get one thing sraight looks on both women can be kinda scary but britney can and NEVER will hit the same notes Chtistina will...its like saying britney spears could hit the same notes the Mariah Carey hits there is no comparision in voice...I hate to see people bash any but when someone is so obviously wrong about RAW TALENT it needs to be pointed out Im gonna be there to do so
Britney looks absolutely gross pregnant. I have an 18 month old daughter, and gained about 30ish pounds while I was pregnant so I'm not talking about her weight at all. She just doesn't wear it well at all, and the completely tastless outfits don't help, either. Maybe she feels like a goddess but she doesn't look like one, but if it makes her happy she should be able to dress however she wants. I'd just love not to have to see it in everywhere.
As for the people who are all aggravated about the criticism of the pregnant! Britney pictures, I wonder if they'd react the same way to a photograph of an overweight woman inappropriately dressed? Of course Britney Spears isn't overweight, but the same principle applies. There's no need for any celebrity to go out of doors dressed in ways that .. let's just say clothes that look terrible. Otherwise, people are entitled to state the obvious. Just my opinion.
